Where does DwellingZone operate?
DwellingZone operates throughout the London Borough of Bromley and beyond. We have sold properties in Bellingham, Bermondsey, Bexleyheath, Bromley, Croydon, Dartford, Greenwich, Hayes, Hither Green, Maidstone, Northumberland Heath, Orpington, Petts Wood, Rochester, Shirley, Shooters Hill, Thamesmead, Welling, West Wickham and Whitstable.

Why doesn't DwellingZone have a local telephone number?
What is a local number to Orpington, is not a local number to Beckenham. We chose our number 08700 11 11 87 as regardless of which area we market property, it is easy to remember and one number for all. Calls are charged at national rate (8 pence per minute + VAT as at 23 May 2007) from a BT standard landline. Mobiles and other networks may vary; please check with your call service provider.

Does DwellingZone have high street branches?
Over 90% of our sales are generated through our extensive internet advertising. The most established property portals boast that over 75% of people looking for property do so through the internet. Isn't that what you did and how you found us? Our greatest success is by operating without branches as these simply increase our costs and such costs would be passed onto you, our customers. So why pay high street estate agents simply to furnish their offices? DwellingZone provides a full estate agency service for a much more competitive price. Of course we are customer facing. It's simply that we come to meet our clients at their convenience, instead of our clients having the inconvenience of travelling to us. With today's adverse climate changes, this also prevents unnecessary journeys and reduces carbon emissions.
Should I have a For Sale board?
We would recommend you display the DwellingZone board as the benefit is obvious - if potential purchasers are passing by and see the board they can contact us immediately. It could lead to your sale. So if you really want to sell your property and benefit from our FIXED FEE and NO SALE NO FEE policy, make sure that our board is the one you choose!
Does DwellingZone advertise in newspapers?
In the past, we have regularly and extensively advertised in newspapers, but we rarely do this now. By the time the advertisement appears, the properties have often gone under offer and this proves a waste of time and money. In this day and age, we provide property marketing directly to buyers. With DwellingZone, buyers needn't waste time traipsing around estate agents' branches or waiting for the paper to be delivered. The only journey necessary is when they come to view their new home.
Tips for safety during viewings
We have safely and successfully operated for five years without branches. We regularly donate to the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and in turn adopt their safety guidelines in our everyday practice:
• Always know who to expect and have verified contact details for all people viewing your property
• If possible, have someone else with you, but always tell someone you trust of your arrangements (someone who will not be accompanying you)
• If you are unsure at any time, have an excuse ready to end the viewing early and please inform us
• Genuinely interested parties will respect the proper procedures so NEVER allow unverified people to enter your home off the street, they could be opportunists
• Do not leave valuables, money, credit cards, cheque books etc on view
